I would like to find some small, antiques that tell a story - such as family journals from the Civil War era, or something really interesting like that - to get a personal perspective of historical events.
ReplyDeleteI'm like suzy, who commented above me - I really love to find unusual or beautiful old items that tell you something. my favorite would be either photographs (especially those with notes on the back!!) or little items that you have to sort of figure out what it's for (there was a lovely silver item I saw the other day, I think it was some sort of egg tray, with tiny little spoons!!)
