We plan to use the no undies method for a few days! I have heard good things!
ReplyDeleteTry a tune. We used the Once Upon a Potty video for our daughter. We sang the tune from the video all the time, especially when she went to the potty. She loved it
ReplyDeleteMy best advice is make sure you have a lot of time and patients cause your going to need it!
ReplyDeleteMy best tip is offer rewards! Nothing big just a star sticker or small toy anything to keep them wanting to go!!
ReplyDeleteI have no tips since we have not started any potty training yet! I like the advice of 3-day pantless potty training though!
ReplyDeleteMy best tip is to make sure your toddler is ready to potty train.
ReplyDeleteMy best tip is to do Elimination Communication when you learn that your child doesn't like sitting in their own Pee or Poop. At least educate yourself on the subject.
ReplyDeletePatience and persistence!
ReplyDeleteput the kid on backwards while on the toilet
ReplyDeleteGo bottomless for three days straight! Don't leave the house!
ReplyDeleteSticker Chart! Really! Especially for the older child....when they get so many they earn a prize!
ReplyDeletehahaha I started EARLY.. as in as SOON as the child began to WALK. I encouraged them to "play" with their little potty then. They loved to imitate mom and dad and sit on their potty when WE went potty. We made it a fun game. Then, let them sit on it after a meal for a bit, naked... it takes a while, but eventually, they will potty in it and you make a fuss and and eventually they make the connection and want to use it a lot. They usually "get" it by age two.
ReplyDeleteEvery time you go to the bathroom take them to the bathroom too. :)
ReplyDeleteStart early, watch for signals, make it a game
ReplyDeleteHave plenty of patience.
ReplyDeleteTo go, "Tssssssss!" to prompt pee!
ReplyDeleteI don't really have any tips, but reading these have given me good ideas! I thought about using cheerios for my son to use as target practice though! :D
