When I was a little girl I had a beautiful wooden necklace. Every time I wore it I always received a ton of compliments. It was a timeless piece that really stood out. It's a shame I lost that necklace because it would of made a lovely heirloom.
When it comes to jewelry, wood will always be a viable medium. This is why wooden jewelry is so timeless. Over the last few years I've noticed wooden watches gaining popularity. This is not doubt stemming from the overall popularity of eco-jewelry. Regardless of the impetus behind the resurgence of this fine art, it's safe to say that this trend will never go out of fashion.
Jord is a rather noteworthy company that produces some of the finest wooden watches I've seen to date. Their selection of smart timepieces will appease the environmentally sound as well as the fashion forward consumer. Each watch is handcrafted using sustainable wood and no two watch styles are exactly alike.
The watch I chose to review was a more masculine style because I intend to give it as a gift; see full review here. The watch I'd choose for myself is from The Ely Series, pictured above in cherry. I really love the delicate design as well as the saturation of the cherry wood. This very lovely, stylish piece would compliment any outfit.
